Our Offices

We are located in The Branch Office building at 45 Cameron Street, Launceston, Tasmania on the corner of George and Cameron Street.

This historic building was designed and built by Peter Mills. Mr Mills was one of Tasmania’s most prolific and respected architects at a time when Launceston’s building heritage enjoyed its busiest period. Mr Mills designed and built a great number of Launceston character buildings between 1864 and 1882 including the Town Hall, Cornwall Insurance Office, Commercial Bank Building and Fawns Block.

The building was originally known as Mills’ Corner and is admired by Heritage Walk visitors to Launceston and locals alike.

The building has enjoyed the diverse roles of:

  • Mills' residence and furniture warehouse
  • The Cox Brothers Store
  • The Australian Tax Office
  • Office of Deputy Prime Minister of Australia - Lance Barnard

to name just a few.

Current tenants of the building include:

  • Amelia Espresso
  • ANL
  • Jaws Architects
  • McArthur Financial
  • Stratatas
  • The Branch Office

The friendly staff at The Branch Office operate the reception and provide business services to individuals, small, medium and large organisations. There are also a number of small, medium and large meeting rooms available for hire.
